TWILIGHT ZONE: THE DUMMY (Abner Biberman, 1962)

Goddamn dolls are scary. I happened to pick out the twilight zone DVD the other night that had four freaky doll / evil inanimate object episodes in a row and it was one of the most harrowing evenings of my life. The Horror!

"The Dummy" is a classic episode about a shaky alcoholic ventiloquist who is maybe schizophrenic or maybe his dummy is ALIVE.

I couldn't find the entirety of "the dummy" on youtube, but here's a clip...

Holy jeebus I got so many records I needs to play ya and i'm so behind I don't know if i'll ever catch up... Among them i got some biblical popcorn, some early music machine (so early they the raggamuffins), some early 90s teen hop, and some other stuff too. Oh yeah and after 8 years of searching i finally found a copy of Electrelane's "The Power Out" LP, so probably three or four cuts off that!
