ON THE RADIO

Gaaaaargh, i am overloaded with new records and I don't know which ones i'll get to play. I've got a heap of old timey stuff from the 20s and 30s lately so maybe a bunch of that. I got an LP of great unreleased "jungle rock" type stuff from this bongo player named "Chaino", so probably some of that. It has this one killer cut called "African Thunder", but it's all pretty great. I got this thing called "the new raunchy" i'm pretty into. Plus a great country thing written by our loverboy lincoln chase, and a great dark southern ov wright type thing written by our other loverboy dan penn. Plus some more song poem things probably. Many things!

Oh yeah, and we should have Cambodian Space project in the studio at some point, playing a few of their new cuts recorded in detroit with Dennis Coffey! And maybe some live in studio songs too...

IN THE WORLD

Friday the 13th Brides is playing at YahYahs with the mighty CAMBODIAN SPACE PROJECT (direct from phnom penh), plus Les Minijupes, and i'll be doing the late night DJing after till 5am

Then Sat the 14th is SATURDAY NIGHT FISH FRY @ The Gem, where my guest will be Simon Laxton

Then next friday september 20th is Mighty Boys @ Tote Upstairs (slow club) w/ Richie1250 & The Brides Of Christ + Rayon Moon

Sun Sept 22nd is Northcote Record Fair (i'll be selling some)
