AAAAAARRRGGGHHHH I just can't stop listening to this thing. The fuckin key changes that ramp up the excitement and those percussive clicks that are way too loud and the way those horns pump like some machine out of Metropolis and then the twinkles come in toward the end and jesus, the way it just stomps. Thrilling.
Joe Valino was from Philly. He had one hit with "Garden Of Eden" and a whole bunch of non hits. Some of his other records are pretty cool cinematic crooner things, but I haven't head any that come close to this...
